MEET COREYCorey Pedeville has officially announced his candidacy for Goliad County Judge, bringing 16 years of distinguished military service and proven business leadership to the race.

— Corey PedevilleCorey is a proud U.S. Army veteran with three combat deployments: Iraq (2010-2011), Afghanistan (2012-2013), and Saudi Arabia (2024-2025). During his most recent deployment, he became one of only a handful of soldiers—and the only Staff Sergeant—to receive both a Meritorious Service Medal and an Army Commendation Medal with C Device.
Beyond his military service, Corey has built and operates seven successful businesses generating $13-15 million in yearly revenue. He manages seven full-time office staff daily and understands the real-world challenges of budgets, personnel, and long-term planning.
Corey has been happily married for 15 years and is the proud father of four children. His wife is a recipient of the prestigious Yellow Rose of Texas award. The Pedeville family is deeply rooted in their community and committed to building a stronger future for Goliad County.
A Clear Vision for Our County's Future
Zero-based budgeting with line-by-line department reviews. Building a "fortress balance sheet" with 6-12 months of operating reserves to ensure every taxpayer dollar is accounted for.
Establish and fund an economic development board. Partner with Victoria and Texas EDCs to expand the taxpayer base through housing, industry, and tourism.
Regular department head meetings, clear SOPs, and direct lines of communication to foster teamwork between all county departments and entities.
Data-driven 5, 10, and 20-year plans with specific milestones. Using public workshops and a diverse planning committee to chart Goliad's future together.
